Product Description
Threaded Junction for Equipment Manifolds
A threaded equal tee is used when all three connections need to be threaded rather than glued. The run (two opposite ports) can be used as a pass‑through, while the side port branches off at 90 degrees.
Because the ports are threaded, fittings can be added or removed without cutting pipe; useful for systems that may need reconfiguration.
Typical Uses in Irrigation
Farmers often use threaded tees to build valve manifolds, connecting ball valves, pressure gauges, or filters. They also appear at sprinkler risers where a threaded tee allows multiple sprinklers to branch from one main line.
In drip systems, they can serve as connection points for threaded components that require disassembly for maintenance.

Installation
Wrap PTFE tape around the male threads of the components being connected.
Screw each component into the tee ports by hand, then tighten with a wrench, usually one to two turns past hand‑tight. Do not overtighten, as PVC threads can split.
The tee itself is not designed for solvent weld.
