Product Description
What It Does
A micro irrigation tee lets you split a single 4/7 mm drip line into two directions. The fitting has three ports arranged in a T shape. One port is the inlet, the other two are outlets. You push tubing onto each port.
The tee is commonly used to feed two rows of plants from one supply line or to create a loop in a potted plant arrangement.
How to Install
Cut the tubing at the point where you need the branch. Push one end of the cut tubing onto one port of the tee. Push the other cut end onto the opposite port.
Then push a new piece of tubing onto the side port to form the branch. Push all connections fully until the tubing bottoms out. No glue or clamps.
Common Layouts
- In a greenhouse, a main micro line runs down a bench. Tees branch off to each pot or tray.
- In a garden, a tee splits water to two nearby plants from a single supply.
- In a nursery, tees help build custom watering grids for seedling trays.
