Why the True Union Design Matters
A standard ball valve, once installed, is permanent. If debris from a tank or well jams the ball, the only fix is cutting the pipe.
The double male union ball valve solves this. Two large union nuts let you slide the entire valve body out of the line by hand; no hacksaw, no glue. Clean the valve, flush the line, and snap it back in.
This makes it the practical choice for systems with seasonal storage or high‑sediment water.
Where Farmers Use It
This valve works as a main shut‑off at the pump or tank outlet. It also isolates individual zones in a drip or sprinkler layout. Because both ends are male threads, it connects directly to female adaptors glued to the pipe, or to other threaded components.
The union design also allows the valve to be rotated into position during installation without twisting the pipe.

Installation and Maintenance
Wrap 7 to 10 wraps of PTFE tape around each male thread before screwing into female fittings.
Hand-tighten plus one or two turns with a wrench; do not overtighten.
Operate the valve fully open or fully closed; throttling (leaving it half‑open) can wear the internal seals over time.
In borehole water with high minerals, turn the handle once a month to prevent scale from seizing the ball.
