Clear hose pipe lets you see what is inside. Water flows through it. You can check for bubbles, debris, or air locks just by looking. No guessing.
The hose is made of PVC. It is flexible and easy to move around your farm or garden.
Where to Use It
You are connecting a small pump to a drip filter. Use clear hose. You can see if the filter is filling properly. You can see if there is air in the line.
You are setting up a temporary watering system for seedlings. Use clear hose. You can see if water is reaching the end.
You are siphoning water from a tank. Use clear hose. You can see the water moving and know when to stop.
In a greenhouse, clear hose works for feeding individual benches or rows. It is lightweight and easy to reposition.
Size Guide
1/4 inch is for small drip systems and micro irrigation. It connects to barbed fittings and 4/7 mm adapters.
1/2 inch is for garden watering and small pumps. It fits standard garden hose fittings.
1 inch is for larger water transfer. Moving water from a tank to a field. Or connecting a medium sized pump to a mainline.
Installation
Cut the hose with a sharp knife. A clean cut makes a better seal.
Push the hose onto a barbed fitting. For 1/2 inch and 1 inch, use a hose clamp. Our Steel Clamp Jubilee Type works. For 1/4 inch, the friction fit may be enough.
Do not use clear hose for high pressure. It is for low pressure applications only. Up to about 2 or 3 bar (30 to 45 PSI). For higher pressure, use reinforced hose.
Durability
Clear PVC can become cloudy over time. That is normal. Sunlight causes it. If you leave it outdoors for months, it may harden and crack. Store it indoors when not in use.
