Product Description
Making a Permanent Branch in a Pipe Run
A PVC tee (plain) is the standard fitting for splitting a mainline into two directions. The two ports in line form the run; the side port branches off at 90 degrees.
All three connections are socket‑type, meaning they glue permanently to PVC pipes. This gives a strong, leak‑free junction that will not loosen over time.
How Farmers Use It
In drip irrigation, tees branch mainlines to feed laterals. In sprinkler systems, they run pipe to multiple zones from a single source.
Tees also appear when looping water around a field, creating distribution grids, or connecting a supply line to a standpipe.

Installation
Cut all three pipe ends square and remove burrs.
Apply PVC solvent cement to both each pipe end and the inside of the tee sockets. For larger sizes, use a high‑bodied cement like ERA L‑5023; medium‑bodied ERA 3011 works well for smaller diameters.
Insert the run pipes first, making sure they seat fully. Then insert the branch pipe.
Hold each joint for a few seconds. Allow the assembly to cure for at least 15 minutes before pressurising.
