Product Description
What It Does
A tee fitting has three ports. Two run in a straight line, and one branches off at 90 degrees. This version has female threads on all three ports, so any male-threaded pipe or fitting screws directly in. It is how you take one incoming water line and send it in two directions at once, or how you tap a branch off a main run without cutting the run.
Where Farmers Use It
Tees are common wherever water needs to be distributed across a field. On a rain hose system, a tee at the mainline lets you feed two lateral hose runs from a single pump connection.
On a sprinkler system, a tee can split supply between two zones or connect a branch line to a riser. Because all three ports are female-threaded, the fitting works with any standard male-threaded PVC component of the matching size.

Installation Notes
Apply PTFE tape to the male threads of each connecting pipe before screwing in. Hand-tighten first, then a quarter to half turn with a wrench. Check all three ports for leaks when you first run the system under pressure.
