Product Description
What It Does
This fitting takes a pipe run and turns it at a sharp 90-degree angle. All three ports carry female threads, so you screw a male-threaded pipe or component into each opening.
There is no gluing, no cementing. The threaded connection is the joint. It is the fitting you reach for when a water line needs to change direction and both sides of the turn use male-threaded pipe or fittings.
Where Farmers Use It
On rain hose and sprinkler irrigation systems, direction changes come up often: routing water around a field boundary, bending a line toward a valve, or fitting pipework into a corner of a pump station. This elbow handles all of those situations.
Because it uses standard female threads, it connects directly to any male-threaded riser, nipple, or pipe fitting of the same size.
Available Sizes
- 32 x 1”
- 40 x1 ¼”
- 50 x 1 ½”
- 63 x 2"
Installation Notes
Wrap two to three layers of PTFE tape around the male threads of your pipe before screwing it into the elbow. Hand-tighten first, then give it a quarter to half turn with a wrench. PVC threads crack if overtightened, so stop as soon as the joint is snug and leak-free on test.
