Product Description
Permanent Pipe Closure
A PVC end cap is a simple fitting that bonds to the end of a pipe, creating a water‑tight seal.
Once glued, it cannot be removed without cutting the pipe. This makes it the right choice for permanently closing off a line that will not need future access.
Where It Belongs in an Irrigation System
End caps are used at the far end of a mainline or lateral line after the last emitter or sprinkler.
They also close off unused ports on manifolds, seal the end of a rainwater downpipe into a storage tank, or finish a stub‑out where a future extension is not planned.

Installation
Cut the pipe end square and remove any burrs.
Apply PVC solvent cement to both the pipe end and the inside of the cap.
Push the cap fully onto the pipe with a slight twist and hold for a few seconds.
Allow the joint to set for at least 15 minutes before pressurising. For larger sizes, use a high‑bodied cement like ERA L‑5023.
