Product Description
Turning Corners in a Pipe System
A 90‑degree elbow does exactly what the name says; it changes the direction of a pipe by a quarter turn. Both ends are slip sockets that bond permanently with PVC cement.
This fitting is one of the most used in any irrigation layout, allowing pipe to follow field edges, go around structures, or turn upward into a riser.
Typical Spots You’ll Find It
In drip systems, elbows navigate mainlines around corners or connect lateral lines to sub‑mains. In sprinkler setups, an elbow at the base of a riser brings the pipe up from underground to the sprinkler head.
Elbows also appear at pump connections, tank outlets, and any place a straight run needs to bend.

Installation
Cut the pipes square and remove burrs.
Mark the insertion depth on each pipe.
Apply PVC solvent cement to both pipe ends and the inside of the elbow sockets. For larger diameters, use high‑bodied ERA L‑5023; medium‑bodied ERA 3011 is fine for sizes up to 63mm.
Insert one pipe fully, then the other. Hold for a few seconds. Allow the joint to cure for at least 15 minutes before running water.
