What It Does
A mist set turns water into a fine fog. In a greenhouse, the mist cools the air and raises humidity. This helps plants transpire properly and can reduce heat stress.
The same system works in poultry houses to keep birds cool, or in propagation areas where cuttings need high humidity to root.
How It Works
Connect the mist set to a water line (usually 4/7 mm or 13 mm tubing) using a push-fit connection. Water pressure forces water through tiny nozzles, breaking it into droplets so small they float in the air.
In a hot greenhouse, these droplets evaporate quickly, cooling the air without soaking the plants.
Installation
Push the mist set onto the supply tube. Hang the nozzles above the plants or animals. Space the sets according to the coverage needed, typically one set every 2 to 3 meters.
The system runs for short bursts (a few minutes at a time) to raise humidity without oversaturating the soil.
Applications
Greenhouse climate control, poultry farm cooling, long tunnel ventilation, propagation misting, and outdoor cooling for livestock.
