Product Description

The Ennos surface solar pump sits above ground. You place it next to your water source. It draws water from shallow wells, dams, rivers, or water pans. Then it pushes the water to your fields, tanks, or irrigation system.

The pump runs on solar power. No diesel. No electricity from the grid. Once installed, the sun does the work for free.

Flow Rate and Head

The pump delivers between 8,000 and 60,000 litres per day. That is a wide range. The actual amount depends on how much sun you get and how high you are pumping.

Head size is 20 to 60 metres. Head means how high the pump can push water. 20 metres is about two storeys. 60 metres is about six storeys. For most flat farms, head is not a problem. For hilly land, you need the higher head rating.

Efficiency

The motor efficiency is 89.7%. That is very good. Most of the solar energy turns into pumping power. Very little is wasted as heat.

Horsepower Options

0.5 HP is for smaller needs. A kitchen garden, a small greenhouse, or a few livestock.

1.5 HP is for larger farms. Up to a few acres of drip irrigation.

Installation

You need solar panels to run the pump. The panels are not included in the base price. IrriHub can supply and install them.

The pump connects to your irrigation system. Use our Lay Flat Pipe or HDPE pipes to move the water to your fields. Add a filter to keep debris out of the pump.

Benefits

No fuel costs. No electricity bills. Low maintenance. Reliable water even during dry seasons if the sun is shining.
