Product Description
How It Differs from a G Clamp
A C clamp looks like the letter C. The screw goes through the bottom or the side, depending on the design. In practice, it does the same job as a G clamp: it holds an object against a fixed surface.
Farmers often use either type depending on what is available. The C clamp’s shape can be easier to fit into tight spaces or around square posts.
Where to Use It on the Farm
-
Attaching a lay flat hose to a metal stand
-
Fixing a drip irrigation mainline to a wooden greenhouse frame
-
Securing a temporary sprinkler line to a fence
-
Holding a hose in place while a pump runs
Installation Guidance
Slide the clamp around the pipe and the support. Turn the screw until the jaw contacts the pipe. Tighten just enough to hold the pipe without crushing it.
For permanent outdoor use, choose a galvanised or stainless steel version to prevent rust. Remove and store clamps after seasonal work to keep them in good condition.
